Actors Umbrella
The community education and outreach arm of ATW. Actors Umbrella is committed to access to information and resources in order to sustain the growth of the theatre community at large. Actors Umbrella initiatives involve ATW taking a leadership, support or behind the scenes role on a number of strategic outreach projects.

2009/2010 ATW Actors Umbrella Projects
Children & Youth Theatre Education
- In conjunction with the Riverfront Theatre Company www.riverfronttheatre.ca, Actors Theatre of Windsor staff will be running the theatre training project to allow children to benefit from working with seasoned Theatre professionals at no cost.
- Mark Break Camp project, and advanced acting camp for older children and tweens who are serious about acting. The program culminates in a studio presentation at the weeks end.
Professional Theatre Education
- ATW Actors Lab,a no-cost a scene study opportunity for professional actors to work with other professionals so they can continue to develop and grow their craft. A 10-week annual event each fall.
- ATW Masters Class, a professional actor education intensive held each March. This year, Carol Rosefeld, a nationally recognized Master Class teacher, based at HB Studio, New Your City, will be the guest Master class teacher in March 2010.
- ATW Stage Management Course, a professional theatre education workshop taught by Professional Stage Manager Crystal Salverda each March.
Theatre Education Projects the Community
- The Gail Ray Grant for Children's Theatre: Given this year to Riverfront Theatre Company so 240 children will be able to see "Free to Be You and Me"
- Windsor International Fringe Festival (July 15 to July 26, 2009) : ATW Actors Umbrella's aim in producing the Windsor Fringe is to increase affordable and accessible avenues for professional theatre:. For More information see www.windsofringe.com.
