ATW Children's Theatre Grant
To increase accessibility to theatre to school-aged Children who might not otherwise be able to afford it, each fall, ATW offers $1000 to a local Theatre company producing children's Theatre to allow children to attend their production without cost.
December 2007
This Children's grant will be given to Riverside Theatre Company so that 165 Children grade 1 & grade 2 students from two schools in Windsor can attend their production of Peter Pan on Friday, December 14. The grant will cover the costs for a school bus to and from l'Essor Amphitheater and attendance at Riverside Theatre's production without cost to the participating students.
December 2006
The Children's Theatre Grant was given to Korda Productions for their Christmas Pantomaime, "Cinderella, the unauthorized Panto." Korda productions produced two additional performances of this show so that children in schools near the Mission Theatre in downtown Windsor could attend the show without cost. 660 children were able to attend this performance. As students were at schools within walking distance from the theatre no busing costs were included.
